Mr Scott Mitchinson

Scott completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Curtin University in 2013 and graduated with distinction. He has since started post-graduate studies and is currently completing a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy.

Scott enjoys treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal and sporting injuries and is dedicated to providing up to date, evidence based treatment techniques. Scott has experience in post-operative rehabilitation and enjoys using a combination of manual therapy and exercise based interventions with the goal of giving each of his clients a clear pathway to recovery. To compliment this he has completed additional training in Clinical Pilates, dry needling and TRX suspension training.

Scott has a unique background in baseball and cricket and has a special interest in treating the overhead athlete. Prior to becoming a physiotherapist Scott spent 6 years in the United States playing professional baseball with the Philadelphia Phillies and Oakland Athletics organisations and has represented Australia in a number of international competitions. Additional to this Scott was the throwing/fielding coach for the Western Warriors and Perth Scorchers cricket teams from 2014-16.

Away from the clinic Scott enjoys staying active and is a social runner, golfer and surfer. He keeps himself busy as a current physiotherapist for the Victorian men’s gymnastics high performance centre and sports trainer for the West Coast Eagles football club.
