Overview
Damien completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Australian Catholic University with High Distinctions in all clinical placements and has since worked predominantly in Private Practice. He is qualified in Dry Needling and is also an APA Level 1 Sports Physiotherapist and ASCA Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Coach.
With a background in personal training and a variety of sports such as Rugby League, Track Cycling and Ironman, Damien has developed a keen interest in providing care for all musculoskeletal and sporting injuries, post-surgery rehab as well as lower limb and shoulder rehabilitation. He has extensive experience within Sports Physiotherapy, where he provided treatment to high-level football teams in the NPL and QPL competitions as well as for QLD during National Competition Tours.
Damien has a passion for helping patients maximise their functional ability in everyday life and achieve their goals. He incorporates a holistic approach in his treatments, combining client-specific strategies, strengthening and hands-on techniques to gain the best results for his patients.
