Overview
I’m Nikita Mistry and I’m one of the physiotherapists at Butel Health Services. I graduated from Western Sydney University with a degree in Bachelor of Health Science/Master of Physiotherapy. Since graduating, I jumped straight into the ‘deep end’ of the demanding and highly rewarding world of private practice. I have a passion for helping people perform at their best, whether that is out on the sporting field, or in daily life. My Master’s degree has given me a great understanding of the latest evidence in the field of physiotherapy, ensuring patients receive the best care and treatment. Being a netball player and dancer since I was young, I am interested in the prevention and treatment of sporting injuries, especially in kids. Young athletes provide a unique challenge, and given my own netball related injuries it’s something I’m particularly focused on. I have already completed a Pre and Post Pregnancy & Exercise course run by Claire Norgate. Claire is a leader in Women’s Health and I am excited to continue to my development in this area. Pre and Post pregnancy issues are a major concern for a majority of Australian women and I am passionate about providing solutions for them. I strive to approach all of my patient’s cases like I do anything in life; by being insightful, astute and thorough. I am always willing to go the extra mile to get the best possible results for my clients. Outside of the clinic, you will find me playing netball or hiking around Sydney’s national parks (usually to burn off all the yummy cakes I bake!)
