BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
Jennie Strathairn qualified as a physiotherapist in Glasgow, Scotland in 2008.She worked in Glasgow for 4 years in a large hospital across many different departments gaining valuable varied experience. She then moved to Sydney in 2012 to pursue her love for musculoskeletal physiotherapy and to further her career.Jennie started working at Avalon Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates in July 2012, and has since then become the practice’s principle physiotherapist. She is really excited about her new role and looks forward to developing the practice and continuing to care for the people of Avalon, helping them to reach their personal goals.She enjoys using acupuncture and dry needling techniques with patients as well as building in Clinical Pilates elements to her treatments. She has completed her APA Sports level 1 course and is soon to finish her DMA Clinical Pilates accreditation.
Jennie is also very passionate about caring for the older population of Avalon and helping them to maintain and improve their strength and balance through our falls prevention programme.She represented Scotland playing Lacrosse for 5 years and has recently had some experience playing ALF for Manly Warringah Giants. She is also an active surf lifesaver.

Located in the Village Plaza just across the road from the Commonwealth Bank, the team at Avalon Physiotherapy clinic in Sydney serve the Avalon community but welcome patients from all areas including Newport, Whale Beach, Bilgola, Clareville, Bayview, Elanora Heights and North Nerrabeen.
There is plenty of parking behind the building and there is a bus stop close by.
