Overview
Dr Joanna Simmons is a Paediatric Allergist and Immunologist. She graduated from the University of Sydney in 2001 and completed a Masters of Public health in 2002. Joanna worked in Sydney, Darwin and Brisbane before moving to Melbourne in 2010 to complete training in Paediatric Allergy and Immunology at the Royal Children's Hospital in 2011.
Joanna also practices at the Royal Children's Hospital, Epworth Allergy Specialists and MACCS Medical Group.
Referrals are invited for:
- All food allergy/anaphylaxis children 4 months and over
- Eczema
- Allergic rhinitis (hayfever) including families requesting immunotherapy
- Anaphylaxis following an insect sting
- Assessment of children with recurrent infection and/or suspected immune deficiency

Education
- Bachelor Of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
- Masters of Public Health (MPH)
- Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP)
