Dr Melsom completed the prestigious microsurgical course at Northwick Park Hospital in London and the hand fellowship in Nottingham, UK. Dr Melsom arrived in Australia in 2006 for the upper limb fellowship at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane.
