Overview
Dr Brad Johnson studied medicine at the University of Western Australia and graduated with Honours in 2000.
He was selected to enter the ophthalmology training program in WA and after completing this was appointed to an advanced Medical Retina Fellowship at the world-renowned Bristol Eye Hospital.
In 2010, he returned to Perth as a consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and founded Northern Eye Surgeons, based in Joondalup.
Dr Johnson specialises in Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy and Cataract Surgery.
His practice is located in Joondalup, and he has regular operating lists at St John of God Subiaco Hospital, as well as at the Perth Eye Hospital, Osborne Park Hospital and Joondalup Hospital.
He served for several years on the Executive Board of the Australian Society of Ophthalmologists, including as Secretary/Treasurer.
