Bertram Family Medical Centre is a Bulk Billing Medical Centre that is privately owned and located in Wellard. Our focus is to provide our patients with prompt, convenient healthcare services in a comfortable and modern facility. Our administrative staff and registered nurses are friendly and will make you feel at ease with their empathy, knowledge, and efficiency.

Our experienced doctors are all members of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and participate in the College's Quality Assurance and Continuing Professional Development Program. They have additional training in their choice of special interest, offering specialised services in addition to general practice services, including:

SURGERY FEES:

From 1st November 2025, Bertram Family Medical Centre has become a Bulk Billing practice for Eligible Medicare Services on all days of the week. This change would mean that patients that hold a current & valid Medicare/DVA card will be Bulk Billed for GP consultations, including Care Plans, Health Assessments, Referrals, Results, Prescription Requests, Dressings, Childhood Vaccinations & Catch up immunisations, Iron Infusions & more.

You will need to bring your valid Medicare/ DVA card, Concession or Pension card to each visit.

Non-Medicare cardholders will be charged a fee for consultations. All Fees must be paid on the day.
