Edinburgh Family Medical Centre is a well-established general practice located on Edinburgh Avenue, Kinross. We are committed to providing the highest standard of medical care to our patients.

Billing Information:

Ours is a mixed billing practice. Bulk billing available for cases mentioned below.

• Patients holding a Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card, Commonwealth Senior Health Care Card (Centrelink), DVA Gold Card, and children under 16 years of age (not 16).
• Flu vaccinations, Desensitisation treatments, and childhood Immunisations
• Chronic Disease Management Plans (Care Plans) and reviews.

No Out-of-Pocket Costs for Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) and Workers Compensation cases where liability has been accepted.

Weekend & Public Holiday Billing Policy: All appointments are privately billed during weekend & public holidays.

Procedure Fees may vary depending on the type of procedure performed.

Cancellation Policy: $70 non-attendance fee will be charged for missed appointments if you do not notify us at least 2 hours in advance and $70 for allied health professionals (Physiotherapists, Dieticians, Podiatrists) and requires 24 hours notice. Please cancel via your appointment confirmation email to allow us to offer the time to another patient.

Skin Cancer Care: Our practice principal, Dr Sanjay Kanodia is a qualified skin cancer doctor with specialised qualifications including a Diploma in skin cancer medicine & Surgery AND Diploma in Dermoscopy from the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. He has extensive experience in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment

After-Hours Care:

We have formal arrangements with Night Doctor ( Call 1300 644 483 ) to provide care during unsociable after-hours periods, including:

• 7:00 PM to 7:45 AM on weekdays
• After 1:00 PM on Saturdays
• All day Sundays and public holidays

Our priority is to ensure you continue to receive the care you need, even when our practice is closed.
