See moles scan area. An appointment specifically is necessary for this service.
Fractures
Assessment of fractures for treatment. Minor fractures can be often dealt with at the practice. More major fractures can be assessed and specialist or ED department organised.
Lacerations
Most lacerations can be treated at the practice with our treatment rooms being fully equipped to deal with these injuries.
Minor procedures
Skin lesions, Implanon insertion, wedge resections and other minor theatre procedures can often be done on site at the WhitfordsAvenue Medical Group. These require assessment and treatment by your individual doctor at the time of the consultation.
Implanon insertion
Can be done in our minor theatre room after assessment by a family doctor at this practice.
Myofascial medicine
For treatment of back neck shoulder pain. Requires appointment for assessment and arrangement of at treatment plan.
Naturally not all cases are suitable for Myofascial Treatment and may require other or combined treatment modalities. This treatment requires careful assessment prior to being used.

I had booked a second appointment for my teenage son later that day which meant that I had to come in twice to the clinic for the appointments which were 3 hours apart. I have been attending Whitfords medical centre since 2012. The receptionists are so friendly and helpful. Just recently I had forgotten to take a medical attendance certificate from my doctor. I called the practice and Rosemary, one of the receptionists ensured that the doctor would get me one and she even offered to fax it through as my employer was requesting one. This is excellent service and all the receptionists always greet you with a smile. They are legends :) I have seen a few of their doctors and they are great, their knowledge is amazing.

The practice was brilliant; my mum, as suggested, phoned before the appointment to see if the doctor was on schedule and the very helpful receptionist, Tracey, was able to record us as having arrived, thereby alerting the doctor in advance so that he was ready to see us almost immediately on our arrival. no waiting in the waiting room.
