At Shenton Medical Centre, the road to wellness begins right at our front door. All of our patients, new and returning, are welcomed by our helpful and accommodating admin staff, who believe the best start to patient care is friendliness. Our facilities have a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, and all of our equipment is state-of-the-art. We are a patient-focused practice offering onsite pathology, podiatry, skin clinic and dietetics and physiotherapy. Our friendly doctors are vastly experienced, with a shared view to improve the health and well being of the surrounding community through the delivery of integrated, holistic and sustainable primary care. We have also recently opened a purpose built, family friendly practice in Butler - Butler Boulevard Medical Centre - to provide further healthcare to the local community. We provide our patients with a comprehensive range of high quality medical services, including: General health assistance Family health Men’s health Women’s health Minor procedures Chronic disease management Mental health Pre-employment medicals Driving medicals Counselling Family planning Skin clinic ECG Blood pressure monitoring Travel medicine Located in the northern suburb of Butler, we are easily accessible to residents of Currambine and the surrounding areas, including Burns Beach, Kinross, Joondalup, Heathridge, Connolly, Ocean Reef and Iluka. There are multiple bus stops in front of the practice and there is ample onsite parking available for those who prefer to drive. We are open 7 days a week, with after hours appointments available on weekdays. Specifically we are open from 8.00am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Saturday and 9am to 5pm on Sunday. Further after hours appointments are also available at Joondalup After Hours Clinic. Booking an appointment is easy and can be done at any time using our convenient online booking service. Billing policy
Private billing for all appointments on Saturday and Sunday.
Bulk billing is available for patients with a valid concession card and children under the age of 16.
DNA Policy:
If you are unable to attend your appointment, for any reason, please contact the surgery at least 1hr prior to your booking. Late cancellations and/or failure to attend will result in a $30 cancellation fee payable prior to any further bookings.
