IMPORTANT CHANGE IN BILLING POLICY:

Dear patients,​

We would like to inform you of important changes to our billing policy at Brookland Medical Centre. After long and careful consideration we have made the decision to introduce MIXED BILLING to our practice, starting from Monday 1st of August 2022. Please find the details in our website.

COVID POLICY:

Health and safety of our staff and our vulnerable patients is our utmost priority. Please be noted our COVID POLICY as below: ​

• If you have Fever (≥37.50C) with the acute respiratory symptoms (including cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny nose), for Face-to-Face GP Visit, you are required to have a negative COVID test (Same day for RAT or within 3 days for PCR) & wear a well-fitted face mask.
• FACE MASK is strongly recommended for all the patients and attendances.
• Mixed billing policy is also applicable for the telephone consult. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a telephone consult if you have not attended to our medical centre in the last 12 months.

Brookland Medical Centre is a non-corporate, privately owned, family orientated general practice. Our medical center is fully accredited with RACGP standard.

In addition to General Practice service, we also have Specialist General Physician/Endocrinologist, onsite Pathology collection service (Clinipath), IUD insertion and removal clinic, and Medical acupuncture clinic. Private fee or gap-fee may be applicable for specialist, procedures and allied health appointments, so please check with our receptionists upon booking.

Our doctors can also provide consultation in foreign languages including Myanmar and Tamil.

At Brookland Medical Centre, we are committed to provide the highest quality, affordable and comprehensive medical services in a professional, friendly and caring environment. We also have experienced registered nurses providing full-time nursing support such as immunisation, wound care, health assessment, heart health check, diabetes risk assessment and chronic disease management.

We do provide effective pain management but please be noted that our doctors do not prescribe narcotics (S8 medications) or sleeping pills (Benzodiazepine).

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you are unable to attend to your booked appointment please let us know as soon as possible. It is required at least 2 hours to cancel or re-schedule an appointment. Otherwise a late notice fee or missed appointment fee may be applicable.
