Patients with Medicare cards (usually Australian residents) will have no out-of-pocket costs for standard appointments with Bulk Billing GPs in most cases, as it will be billed directly to Medicare.
Alkimos Medical Centre is located on Shorehaven Boulevard on the corner of Bulwark Ave in Alkimos.
The centre is well equipped with state of the art equipment to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality of care.
We pride ourselves in giving the best service possible, being able to offer same-day appointments and endeavour to ensure short waiting time.

An appointment for a standard consultation will be made with your preferred doctor or the next available doctor, depending on your preference.
Extended consultations are available on request. If you anticipate that your consultation will be long, please advise the receptionist when making the appointment.
Our appointments are 100% Bulk Billed, means no out-of-pocket expense to you for any consultations!

I've been here numerous times for myself and two kids. Been seen by a few different doctors.
Since its been opened - friendly, prompt and GPs are very thorough and happy to answer all my questions and concerns.
Reception staff - very welcoming and happily help open the door when I'm trying to come in with my pram. (Small gestures of helpfulness goes a long way).

Having moved here from UK I find attending a Doctors appt at Alkimos GP surgery to be a totally different experience to that in the UK. Easy to get an appt when u need it , GP has more than 5 mins to see you, up to date with drug knowledge etc and overall a pleasant experience. Thanks Alkimos Medical Centre.
