Vermont Medical Clinic is a family practice, with General Practitioners in the Vermont area since 1960. We are open Monday to Saturday at our modern new facilities. We also have doctors who speak Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.
Vermont Medical Clinic is committed to providing its patients with a high standard of care for the benefit of each patients' health and well being over a person's lifetime.
We offer primary, comprehensive and continuing care for the individual and families.
Our aim is to give our patients the highest possible quality of care, by ensuring excellence in all aspects of our practice.
As well as our team of GPs we have a psychologist, physiotherapist, podiatrist, speech pathologist, skin cancer clinic, diabetes clinic and lactation services.
As a mixed billing practice, we offer bulk billing to all children under 13, full pensioners and DVA patients. Otherwise, our fees are $86 for a standard consultation. Low income Health Care Card holders, part pensioners and children 13 - 17 are discounted.
The address is Suite 1.02 (we're on level 1), 645-647 Burwood Hwy Vermont South. Most parking is available under or at the rear of the building but patients can be dropped off at the front door. Disabled parking is available at the front and in the other areas with lift access from the basement level. For those using public transport the 732 and 736 buses stop nearby. We would be well located for any patients in the areas of Wantirna, Knox, Vermont, Forest Hill, Bayswater, Wantirna South, Nunawading, Mitcham, Ringwood, Burwood East, and Blackburn.

Billing policy
Payment at the time of consultation is required or an additional fee of $10.00 will be incurred. Standard consultations will be charged at $86.00 - the rebate from Medicare is $38.75. Longer appointments are usually charged at $140.00 – the rebate from Medicare is $75.05.
Children under 13 are bulk billed, children aged 13 – 17 are charged a discounted fee.
Full Pensioners and Veterans’ Affairs patients are bulk-billed and should present their Veterans Affairs’ Card or Pension card to the receptionist after their consultation.
Low income Health Care Card Holders and part pensioners are charged a discounted fee. Concession card holders should present their concession card after their appointment. All patients should bring their Medicare card to every consultation, and present it to the receptionist after their appointment.
Credit Card and Eftpos facilities are available.
