Patients with Medicare cards (usually Australian residents) will have no out-of-pocket costs for standard appointments with Bulk Billing GPs in most cases, as it will be billed directly to Medicare.
Gap Road Medical Centre is a Registered Training Centre with the MCCC. We are very happy to be involved in this program to bring new Doctors into the General Practice Workforce. So we have Registrars come and spend 6 to 12 months terms with us. We find that the registrars give our Centre a wonderful boost enthusiasm up to date technology along with a kind & friendly manner and have been a wonderful asset to the community.
We will always try to accommodate your preferred time & Doctor. Emergencies will always be given priority wherever possible you will be notified prior of any significant delay. Appointments are usually made at ten minute intervals, but longer consultations are available on request when making your appointment. There is a cancellation fee of $20 should you miss an appointment, this is not refundable from Medicare. Some of the services include:

Pricing & Payment
Billing policy
All standard consultations, except for Work Cover, Insurance matters, & Medicals are Bulk Billed & incur no charge. Fees for billed visits can be obtained from reception staff. Always bring your current Medicare card with you & notify staff of any changes of personal or Medicare details. If you hold a current Pension, Health Care card or Seniors Card please provide, these to reception staff.
