Studio Village Medical centre is a Bulk-Billing Practice. There are several additional services nearby, in Point Cook, Hoppers Crossing and Werribee, providing pharmacy, pathology clinic, and physiotherapist services. This Practice is open 6 days a week from 0900am-1300pm. This Practice provides personalised and private home visits and After Hours visits (Subject to Doctor's availability).This is because our services are followed up with personalised private home visits and Telehealth for our patients according to their needs and requests and subject to availability of the doctor. Our waiting room is equipped with TV and a play area for children, plus magazine.

Practice Hours

Mondays to Fridays 9am – 1300pm

Saturdays 0900am – to 1300pm

My after hour time with the NHDS are:
6pm to Midnight daily excluding Tuesday’s and Sundays 
Please call 13SICK - national home doctor service at all times when the practice is closed.

 

Your confidentiality:

All information obtained from you will be treated with strictest confidentiality possible under the law of Queensland.

Your consent:

Your consent is required for consultations, for any procedures and for any other third-party person to be present with you during your consultations. All children must be accompanied by a guardian who is able to give background information about their health and who has the legal authority to give consent on their behalf.

Your rights:

If you have any problem whether it’s with the service you received or with the treatment you were given, we would like to hear about it. Please feel free to talk to your doctor or receptionist. You may prefer to write to us. Available at the reception is a complaints form. We take all concerns and complaints seriously and endeavor to attend to them as soon as possible. Please feel free to contact the Practice Principal to discuss your concerns and have them addressed promptly.

Management of your Personal Health Information:

Your medical record is a confidential document. Your medical records are treated with the highest level of confidentiality. It is a policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorized members of medical staff.

While you wait for your consultation:

Every effort will be made to ensure that your waiting period is short. However unforeseeable circumstances can prolong your wait, e.g. Doctor on call, emergencies. In the event that circumstances prolong your waiting period we would appreciate your patience otherwise you are more than welcome to reschedule your appointment by notifying reception. Reception will notify you upon your arrival if there are any delays and your approximate wait period. While you are waiting we want you to feel comfortable and enjoy your environment. The television and magazines/brochures are provided for your leisure. We welcome breastfeeding mothers and advise there is a baby change room available as well as facilities for the children to remain occupied throughout your wait. Please be sure that all children are well supervised throughout your wait as the staff cannot take responsibility for their actions. If you are distressed or require privacy during your wait please speak to a staff member who will assist to your needs.
