Patients with Medicare cards (usually Australian residents) will have no out-of-pocket costs for standard appointments with Bulk Billing GPs in most cases, as it will be billed directly to Medicare.
Chirnside Park Family Clinic is a modern, purpose-built medical practice located outside Chirnside Shopping Centre. We are committed to delivering the highest standard of primary care to the Eastern Melbourne region, with a team of doctors who focus on your health and wellbeing.
As well as providing all general practice services, our caring and experienced doctors have a special interest in adolescent health, blood pressure tests and monitoring, children's health, men's health, women's health, and vaccinations/immunisations. We also have on-site pathology collection for your convenience.
In order to serve your family as best we can, our practice provides bulk billing for families and individuals covered by Medicare. For those who are not covered by Medicare, our fees are $40 for a standard consultation and $80 for a long consultation. Fees vary slightly if you have an out of hours appointment or are seen by a non-vocationally registered doctor. Contact our friendly reception staff for more information about our fees.
The clinic has ample on-site parking, wheelchair accessibility, and a comfortable waiting area with a TV, magazines, books, and a kid’s play area. We are ideally located for patients who live in Chirnside Park, Croydon North, Mooroolbark, Lilydale, Wonga Park, and Coldstream. We are located nearby to Chemist Warehouse Chirnside Park and Terry White Chemists which is on Maroondah Highway, meaning prescriptions can be fulfilled quickly and easily following consultations. We are also located close to Specsavers Optometrists, and Laubman & Pank should you require optical services before or after your consultation.
