Patients with Medicare cards (usually Australian residents) will have no out-of-pocket costs for standard appointments with Bulk Billing GPs in most cases, as it will be billed directly to Medicare.
Wells Road Medical Centre is a well established, AGPAL accredited practice providing you and your family with a total package of healthcare services staffed by an experienced and compassionate team. We are open 7 days a week with after hours appointments available every day. Specifically, our open hours are 8.30am to 9pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm Saturday and 10am to 7pm Sunday. Please note the practice is also open from 10am to 5pm on public holidays. Our team works together to provide our patients with a comprehensive range of high quality medical services, including: Antenatal & shared care Family planning Children’s health Adolescent health Preventative medicine Women’s health Men’s health Surgical procedures Chronic disease management Skin checks Cosmetic medicine WorkCover Flu Vaccinations Occupational health Pre-Employment medicals Travel health
We also offer the convenience of onsite pharmacy, pathology and radiology as well as a range of allied health services, including a podiatrist, diabetic educator and psychologist. The complex we are located in also has physiotherapists, masseurs, podiatrists, osteopaths, pilates instructors, dietitians, psychologists and a cosmetic surgeon. As a patient of our practice you will be able to complete all of your healthcare appointments without having to travel all over town!
As a bulk billing practice, we provide bulk billing to all patients with a valid Medicare card for all Medicare-eligible procedures. This means no out-of-pocket expenses for most general consultations.
Located in the coastal suburb of Chelsea Heights, we are easily accessible to residents of Chelsea Heights and the surrounding area, including Aspendale, Aspendale Gardens, Waterways, Bangholme, Patterson Lakes, Bonbeach, Chelsea and Edithvale. We are close to public transport and there is onsite parking available for those who prefer to drive.
