McNamara Clinic is an independent, doctor owned, family practice, founded in 1985 by Dr Aram Demirdjian. Since then, it has developed into a highly regarded medical centre, with 15 people on the team including 4 doctors.
McNamara Clinic is located in Airport West, near Essendon Airport. We offer onsite pathology, practice nurses and allied health (physiotherapist, podiatrist, dietitian, psychologist and exercise physiologist). Our highly experienced and friendly support staff ensure that our practice runs efficiently.
We would like to welcome our new Physiotherapist to the team. During these tough times, we are pleased to be able offer Physiotherapy for $60 for a 30 minute session. You are unlikely to find better value for money Physiotherapy services in Melbourne especialy for a 30 minute consultation. If you have a Care Plan, Physiotherapy is 100% Bulk Billed.
The clinic has a special interest in skin cancer checks and dedicates one day per week to procedures in our fully equipped, dedicated treatment room. We offer skin cancer checks with our new, state of the art specialised dermoscopy equipment.
At McNamara Clinic we strive to do everything we can to meet our patients needs.
We promote ongoing education and professional development of all our staff. All staff members undertake a variety of training and specialist courses beyond what is required in order to maintain our high level of expertise. We have Dorevitch Pathology on site as well as a podiatrist, physiotherapist, psychologist, exercise physiologist and a dietitian.
As a mixed billing clinic, out of pocket fees apply to most patients. We do offer bulk billing on weekdays between 8:15am-4:00pm, to Pension Card holders and Healthcare Card holders. Children under 16 are always bulk billed.
On Saturdays, only children (under 16) are bulk billed. Out of pocket fees apply to pensioners and Healthcare card holders.
Located in the heart of Airport West, we are easily accessible to residents of Airport West and surrounding areas, such as Niddrie, Keilor East, Strathmore Heights, Tullamarine, Essendon North and Keilor Park.

Directions and parking
McNamara Clinic is located on the McNamara Ave shopping strip. It is easily visible with its small garden out the front. There is a bus stop across the road from the clinic, and there is parking available on McNamara Ave. During busy times, you can find all day parking down the side streets, or in the small public car park.

Billing policy
As a mixed billing practice, we offer bulk billing on weekdays between 8:15am-4:00pm, to all Pension Card holders, Healthcare Care holders, and children under the age of 16 years old. Otherwise, our fees are $70 for a standard consultation and $105 for a long consultation, with a Medicare rebate of $37.05 and $71.70, respectively.
**Please note that bulk billing is not available on weekdays from 4pm onwards, and all day Saturday; All Pension Card holders, Healthcare Care holders, and children under the age of 16 years old will be privately billed within this time.**
