Prescription Policy – Drugs of Dependence
At Elizabeth Park HealthCare, it is our policy that GPs do NOT prescribe drugs of dependence (including Schedule 8 and certain Schedule 4 medications) until a full clinical picture has been established.
The decision to prescribe – or not prescribe – any such medication is a clinical one, based on the patient's presenting symptoms and medical history.
Please note that our GPs reserve the right to decline the prescription of any Schedule 8 or Schedule 4 drugs, in line with medical guidelines and professional judgment.

*** NON-ATTENDANCE FEE NOTICE***
As of the 1st of November 2025 Elizabeth Park Healthcare will now be charging a Non-attendance fee of $30 for any missed appointments without at least 2 hours prior notice.
This fee must be paid before you can attend your next appointment. Failure to pay the fee may result in your ability to book future appointments being affected.
