The team at Scarborough Majellan Medical Centre consists of 8 general practitioners, 4 Practice nurses, 7 receptionists, and Angela, the Practice Manager. The location of the Practice couldn’t be better with the Practice across the road from the beach. The waiting room is furnished with comfortable lounges that encourage relaxation as well as having the more upright chairs for those who are less able-bodied. The Practice offers a deeper service for those patients who like to enjoy the lovely seaside view while they wait or for parents with children who can take them across the road to the park to play as they wait or for those wishing to take advantage of the numerous cafes and restaurants close by.
The Practice is supported by many allied health services such as the physiotherapist, dietician, psychologist, massage therapist, pharmacy and pathology outlet either on-site or in the immediate vicinity.
The Practice has a large Russian and Ukrainian following as two of the GPs speak these languages fluently. Patients come from as far away as the Gold Coast to take advantage of this.
