Malanda Medical Care is a new general practice that opened in Malanda in February 2014. Our team consists of two GPs, a practice nurse, a practice manager, a physiotherapist and three receptionists. We have a very strong team approach and believe that we give our best to our patients when we are happy and supported in our workplace. We pride ourselves on our welcoming and cheerful environment.
Our practice is conveniently located near the heart of Malanda, across the park from the post office. The building was previously a family home that has been converted into a light and airy practice. The aim of the renovation was to create a modern and professional clinic, which still retains some of the warmth and friendliness of a family home. We have beautiful lawns and gardens surrounding the building and a children's playground just across the road.
We provide care primarily to residents of the Southern Atherton Tablelands. However, we are happy to see anyone who calls, including visitors to our beautiful region.
We provide a full range of general practice services, including but not restricted to acute injury and illness care, chronic disease management, skin checks and skin cancer surgery, family planning and women's health, child health and immunisations, travel medicine, work medicals and insurance paperwork.
