Patients with Medicare cards (usually Australian residents) will have no out-of-pocket costs for standard appointments with Bulk Billing GPs in most cases, as it will be billed directly to Medicare.

Logan Central Family Clinic is a fully computerised comprehensive general practice offering a wide range of services to all age groups. Our medical team is committed to providing the highest standard of patient care whilst incorporating a holistic approach towards diagnosis and management of illness. We are committed to promote health, well being and disease prevention to all patients. We do not discriminate in providing the provision of excellent care and aim to treat all patients with dignity and respect.
Appointments:
In order to minimise waiting time, this practice operates by an appointment system. For any inquiries please call us. Walk in appointments are welcome at this clinic, please see reception and the next available appointment will be made for you if one is available.
Appointments are also available to be made online at Health Engine Type in the suburb or postcode (4114) find Logan Central Family Clinic and the available appointments will display. Standard appointment time is 10-15 minutes. We aim to provide thorough healthcare and also keep wait times to a minimum, it is helpful to advise reception if you require a standard appointment. If you have a number of matters please request a long consultation.
Fees:
Our medical services are provided to our patients on Bulk Billing for Medicare Card holders. Patients will not pay any gap fees to our practice. If you are referred for further investigations or for initial consultation by a specialist or by an allied health practitioner, this may incur an out of pocket expense. Patients without Medicare Cards or where the MBS Schedule does not apply, a fee will be made to our practice in accordance to or below the AMA recommended fee. Medical reports issued for private institutions such as insurance or legal companies or for pre-employment purposes or for Commercial Drivers Licence will attract a fee. This fee may be disputed prior to rendering any services. Our practice accepts cash only. If patients do not have a Medicare card, the fee for a standard consultation is $50.00. Fees may be higher for other requirements in an appointment, this may be discussed prior.
