FEES

We have decided to continue Bulk billing patients who hold a concession card that includes: Health Care Cards, Commonwealth Senior Health Care Cards, Pensioner Concession card holders, anyone who is under the age of 16 and DVA Card holders.If you do not hold a concession card there is a fee associated with our services, please see our lovely receptionists for details on pricing.

Please note we only accept a cheque, savings, or credit card as a method of payment. We are able to process Medicare rebates on the same day with a cheque or saving card, otherwise we can send your claim to Medicare and you will receive your payment within 2-3 business days.

We will continue to bulk billing preventative health matters such as: Chronic Conditions Care Plans, Health Assessments, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Assessments, Healthy Heart  Checks, ABI’s, Spirometry, ECG’s, DVA gold card holders, patients who are hold health Care Cards, Commonwealth Senior Health Care Cards, Pensioner Concession card holders, anyone who is under the age of 16 and DVA Card holders.

All appointments on Saturday will incur a fee regardless of concession card, children or the type of appointment.

All appointments before 8AM will incur a higher fee due to seeing the doctors after hours.

INTERPRETER SERVICES

If a patient requires an interpreter service, please speak with reception staff and we will arrange this for you. We welcome your questions regarding this service.

APPOINTMENTS

Our appointments are 15 minutes long. If you may need longer, please let out reception staff know when booking your appointment. If you require an urgent appointment, please make us aware of this and we will endeavor to book you in as soon as possible.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency or your matter is life threatening, please call triple zero immediately.

AFTER HOURS

If you are unwell outside of practice business hours, please contact the National Home Doctor Service for a bulk billed home consultation.

TELEPHONING YOUR DOCTOR

Doctors within this practice may be contacted via phone during open hours; a message will be taken and forwarded to your GP.

Staff will not disclose results over the phone, an appointment is required. If the doctor wishes to review your results we will contact you directly.

PATIENT INFORMATION

All patients will be required to complete a "New Patient" form prior to commencement of their initial consultation. Even if you have seen one of our GPs at another practice, this form is still required.

If you are booking for a pre-employment medical, commerical drivers licence, insurance paperwork - please call the practice please do not book online.

For privacy reasons, every time you make contact with the practice we will ask you your name, address, date of birth and contact number. We will also ask to sight your Medicare card and any concession cards.

If you require a prescription or specialist referral, please make an appointment.

We take your concerns, suggestions and complaints seriously. If you are unhappy with any aspect of care provided at this practice, please speak with your doctor or the practice manager.

We maintain the security of all personal information at all times and ensure it is only disclosed to other health providers involved in your medical treatment. This practice has a written privacy policy which is available upon request.
