Everton Hills Medical Centre (Mixed billing)

Everton Hills Medical Centre is a traditional, family-orientated practice that has been established for over 37 years. Our friendly reception staff are happy to help in any way they can; there is no taking a ticket and then a seat at our practice - our friendly staff are there to assist you at all times. Additionally, we have renovated and expanded over the passt 3 years, so we now have fresh, modern facilities including four consult rooms.

Our practitioners are friendly and experienced and can assist you with a range of general medical concerns, offering services including:

• General consultations
• Men’s, women’s, and children’s health issues
• Skin checks
• Immunisations
• Travel medicine and vaccinations
• Procedures, such as lesion removal and skin cancer removal (At a Fee for Service out of pocket)
• pathology (through Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology 4 shops down from us). No COVID testing done in our Practice.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR February 2022

Please note that we are changing from Bulk Billing to Mixed Billing Consultations.This will take effect from the 14th of February 2022.

What does this mean for you?

If the following below does not apply to you, you will be privately billed.

• All children under 16 will remain Bulk Billed. (NB except Saturdays)
• All DVA Patients will remain Bulk Billed. (NB except Saturdays)
• Care Plans, Health Assessments, and Healthy Heart Checks will remain Bulk Billed to eligible patients.
• Pensioners and Health Care Card Holders will be charged at a reduced fee. (NB except Saturdays) There will be an out of pocket of $21.00.

Saturday consults are privately billed at a slightly extra rate. There is no bulk billing on Saturdays.

As with any practice, you will pay the fee in full at reception, and then receive the Medicare rebate back into your bank account.

As you must understand our appointments are precious and if you just do not turn up it means other sick patients miss out for no reason. So if you do not give us at least 2 hours notice, if you wish to cancel your appointment, then you will be charged a missed appointment fee which will need to be paid before you are able to be accepted for another appointment here at the Practice. We will give you one warning only.

Waiting times can vary due to emergencies or patients booking short appointments when they have long appointment needs. This is out of our control. Please ask reception on arrival if you are concerned about a waiting time. We do not accept any aggressive behaviour at this practice. Zero tolerance.

Along with receiving good-old-fashioned, friendly assistance at Everton Hills Medical Centre, you will also feel right at home in our comfortable air conditioned waiting room has a TV, kid’s play area (Limited, due to COVID), and water cooler. Additionally, there is plenty of onsite parking available for your convenience..

Our location makes us easily accessible to those residing in Everton Hills and surrounding suburbs, including Arana Hills, Bunya, McDowall, Everton Park, Mitchelton, Keperra, Ferny Grove, and Ferny Hills.
