Symptoms of COVID-19 Update

If you have any of the following symptoms, no matter how mild, get tested immediately:

• Fever
• Cough
• Sore throat
• Shortness of breath
• Runny nose
• Fatigue
• Loss of smell and/or taste
• Diarrhoea
• Vomiting or nausea

Other symptoms people may experience include muscle or joint pain, and loss of appetite.

If you recently arrived from overseas or moved inter state over the past 14 days, have any cold or flu symptoms as above, or have been recommended to self-isolate or quarantine , do not book online.

A covid test negative RT-PCR result obtained within the last 24-48 hours in mandatory for all face to face consultations if you have any one of the above symptoms.

Masks will remain compulsory for all face to face consultations for the duration of pandemic. Please do not enter the reception area without a mask.

The Orange Grove Pharmacy is conveniently located across from us should you need to collect any prescriptions after your visit.

As a bulk billing practice, we offer bulk billing to all patients holding a valid Medicare card for all Medicare-eligible procedures. This means no out-of-pocket cost for most general consultations. For patients without Medicare, our fees are $65 for a standard consultation and $95 for a long consultation.

Please note, from 1st July 2021 we will not bulk bill new patient appointments on Saturday and public holiday and above charges will apply.

Dr Lizy Varughese does not accept New Patient bookings nor Bulk Bill.

Kindly note New Patient bookings for Dr Reeba George : Commercial Driver Medical Appointments will be privately billed and no Medicare rebate will be available for these appointments.

We are located on Orange Grove Plaza, a small shopping plaza off Orange Grove Road, directly opposite the Red Rooster. There is ample parking available at the plaza, including disabled bays. We would be well located for anyone in the areas of Salisbury, Acacia Ridge, Tarragindi, Mackenzie, Upper Mount Gravatt, Robertson, Moorooka, Rocklea, Inala, and Sunnybank.
