Patients with Medicare cards (usually Australian residents) will have no out-of-pocket costs for standard appointments with Bulk Billing GPs in most cases, as it will be billed directly to Medicare.
At Tweed City Family Practice, we are committed to promoting health, well-being and disease prevention to all patients.
The practice consists of 8 doctors supported by a team of Practice Nurses and Admin Staff, meaning we are well staffed to look after all of our patient's needs.
The doctors provide holistic care while embracing traditional family values and offer a comprehensive range of general medical services, with special interests including:

We also have a range of Allied Health Services on site including a Psychologist, Podiatrist, Physiotherapist, Dietitian, Diabetes Educator and an Audiologist.
As a mixed billing practice, we offer bulk billing to all Centrelink concession card holders and those aged 16 years of age and under. Otherwise, our fees are $65 for a standard consultation and $100 for a long consultation. Fees are payable at the time of consultation by cash, credit card or EFTPOS. Accounts are unfortunately not able to be given. Medicare rebates are available with a current Medicare Card. Please also indicate if you need a longer appointment with the doctor for a full check-up, pap smear, insurance medical, counselling, surgical procedures or full skin examinations.

There are also a number of buses that stop at the Shopping Centre for those using public transport, including the 602, 604, 606, and 607. We would be well located for any patients in the areas of Tweed Heads, Tweed Heads West, Banora Point, Kingscliff, Casuarina, Coolangatta, Chinderah, Fingal Head, Bilambil Heights, and Bilambil.
