IMPORTANT CHANGES TO OUR FEES

Dear Patients,

As of 18 February 2026, our practice will be implementing Private Billing for our services. 

Due to increasing costs, combined with Medicare rebates that are not keeping pace with inflation, we have regrettably made this decision to ensure we can continue providing quality care and maintaining the standard of service you deserve.

Each doctor in the Practice has discretion over the fee that the patient will be charged during the consultation.

The following appointment types will continue to be bulk billed:

-          Concession Card Holders aged 70 and over/DVA GOLD Holders/Children under 18 years of age

-          Chronic Disease Care Plans

-          Mental Health Care Plans

-          Health assessments

-          Excision/biopsy

We understand that changes like these can be concerning, but please know that we are committed to working with you to make this transition as smoothly as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, or for the full list of our consultation fees please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

Please note that due to rising costs and increased demand, there will be a price increase for our services starting 18 February 2026. We encourage patients to book appointments in advance and settle any outstanding fees to avoid inconvenience. Thank you for understanding and your continued support.

The OPlus Health Grafton

Cancellation Policy

At OPlus Health Grafton, we kindly ask patients to provide at least 3 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a standard appointment, and 24 hours’ notice for long or new patient appointments.

Due to the high demand for appointments, adequate notice allows another patient to access care. Failure to provide sufficient notice will result in a late cancellation or Did Not Attend (DNA) fee.

Please note that any outstanding DNA fees must be paid before further appointments can be booked.

Cancellation Fees:

·       New Patient / Long Appointments: $100.00

·       Standard Appointments: $50.00

The OPlus Health Grafton

The Doctors practicing at OPlus Health Medical Centre choose to bill their patients privately. Please bring your EFTPOS card so we can ensure that we can send an on-the-spot claim to Medicare on your behalf, and the funds will be in your account overnight.

We continue to accept the Medicare rebate as full payment for Health Assessments and GP Management Plans.

Please note: That phone consultations are subject to the same fees as face-to-face consultations. Routine script requests and referral renewals are $30. Payment is to be made when the request is ready by the GP.
