TELEHEALTH/VIDEO CONFERENCING

Telehealth consultations only apply to existing patients who have been seen face-to-face within the last 12 months by a GP at the practice. If you have not been seen face-to-face in this time, you will not be eligible for a Medicare rebated consultation and private fees will apply. Alternatively, please book a face-to-face consultation instead.

BILLING POLICY

We are a mixed billing medical practice. Patient's aged between 16-69yrs (incl.) will be privately billed for all GP consultations. Patient's aged 15yrs and under or 70yrs and older, or those with a valid Pension Concession or DVA card will be bulk billed for most GP consultations. Out of pocket fees apply for certain consultations such as skin cancer checks, procedures, infusions and allied health consultations.

MEDICAL SPECIALISTS, ALLIED HEALTH & OTHER SERVICES: Out-of-pocket fees will apply for Allied Health Professionals such as Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Psychology and Dietetic services. Out-of-pocket fees will apply for surgical procedures, IV Infusions, travel vaccines and wound care management. Please ask our reception staff for more information when booking for these services.

SATURDAY & AFTER HOURS FEES

Effective 1st July 2024 - Due to rising operational costs and historically low Medicare MBS rebates, The Madison Medical Practice is applying gap payments for all Saturday consultations for all patients irrespective of age or concession card status. Please note after-hours fees apply from 1pm onwards. See our website for more details.

A proportionate amount of this fee can be claimed back from Medicare after your consultation.

Any children's scheduled immunisations booked on a Saturday will continue to be bulk billed.

Located on the intersection of Pacific Highway and Berowra Waters Road, we have ample nearby parking available for our patients. With bus services running outside and Berowra Station just across the road, we are perfect for patients from Asquith, Berowra Height, Mount Kuring-Gai, Mount Colah, Hornsby Heights, Hornsby, Cowan, Brooklyn, Waitara and Wahroonga.
