Prof Luc Delriviere is a Professor of Surgery at the University of Western Australia. He is the head of liver transplant and hepato-biliary surgery at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. Over the past 10 years of work, he has played a major role in the expansion of liver and kidney transplant programs in Western Australia, with activity in both areas having now more than doubled. Dr Jill is a consultant Paediatric Surgeon with 25 years’ experience in the specialty of Paediatric Surgery. She was raised in Melbourne and Perth, attended Methodist Ladies College in Kew, Victoria and Claremont, Western Australia, studied Medicine at University of Western Australia and graduated as a medical doctor in 1985.
In 1997 Dr Jill became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in the specialty of Paediatric Surgery after training at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children Perth and Westmead Children’s Hospital NSW.
During her medical career she has tutored medical students at University of Western Australia, University of Sydney and Notre Dame University. Advanced surgical trainees have been mentored during clinical training and many research projects.
