Dr Agatha Gabriel is very experienced female GP ,who specialises in all aspect of general practice and she has special interest in women’s and child health.

I enjoy challenging myself and setting myself new targets each year. These generally involve climbing increasingly bigger mountains (literally)! As such, I’ve had wonderful experiences trekking for pleasure, as well as working as an expedition doctor on a number of trips to Nepal and Europe.

After undertaking further work and studies in Orthopaedics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, I finally “found” general practice. After completing my Fellowship in General Practice, I was inspired to undertake further education at the University of Bristol where I completed a post graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning for Health Professionals.

I have recently become very interested in the latest research relating to the treatment of diabetes and obesity, and this has led me to study further the importance and benefits of nutrition. This interest has involved travel to the UK where I have met a number of important researchers, including Dr. Michael Mosely. I was born and raised in Ireland and completed my medical degree at Trinity College Dublin in 2000.

I moved to Australia in 2002 and enjoyed working in the hospital system in specialties including general medicine, aged care, emergency medicine and obstetrics and gynaecology.

I was accepted into the Rural General Practice program and worked in Moora, Mandurah and Lancelin before completing my GP training in 2009.

Dr Ben Harrison graduated from Macquarie University in 2005 and has worked at Leederville Chiropractic Clinic since 2008. Dr Harrison is currently completing his degree in Medicine at the University of Notre Dame. As a result he has very limited hours of practice, but enjoys it so much, he has persisted. Ben is an excellent chiropractor, with a particular interest in functional neurology.

I am a graduate of the University of Western Australia, and spent my early years at Royal Perth Hospital gaining invaluable experience. After travelling and working in Adelaide and the UK, I returned home to Perth to complete my GP training.

I learnt early on that General Practice was my passion. I am approachable and friendly and love getting to know my patients and their families. General Practice allows me to understand them as a person and not just a medical problem. I believe this is integral to providing effective, patient-centered care.

I grew up in Perth and attained my Medical degree in the University of Western Australia.

James graduated from UWA in 1999. He completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2010. He is a clinical teacher and supervisor for the West Australian General Practice Education and Training Program and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame Fremantle. He enjoys all aspects of medicine, but has particular interests in diabetes, medical science, dermatology, minor surgery and medical education. He is trained to insert and remove the Implanon contraceptive device.

Dr Maria Kailis MBBS (UWA) DRANZCOG is a graduate of the University of Western Australia’s School of Medicine and she has had further training in Obstetrics. Dr Kelly enjoy the variety of general practice. Whilst she has particular interests in children's health, women's health, general and preventative medicine and aged care, she enjoy all facets of general practice.

I was born and raised in New Zealand before my family and I moved to Perth in 2004 – temporarily, we initially mused… Now seven years later we have been well and truly seduced by the beautiful surroundings and great lifestyle, and are clearly here for the duration!

I completed my initial medical training in New Zealand, gaining a range of experiences throughout numerous New Zealand hospitals. After our arrival in Perth, I spent time working in local hospital emergency departments. I completed my formal Australian General Practice Fellowship and have been working in general practice since.

I come from a strong education and teaching background, and one of my key principles in medical practice is to pass on as much information as possible to patients – to help each person understand their conditions and treatment options. I value the opportunity to be involved with people of all ages and from all walks of life, and I believe that with knowledge and understanding we can work together to attain the best possible health.

Dr. Martin graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1989. Dr. Martin practices all areas of General Medical Practice but has a special interest in the health care of Women’s Health, Mental Health including post-natal depression as well as the health care of teenagers and children.
