Jo is a UWA graduate who has under gone formal GP training as well as completing a diploma in Child Health.

Her specials interests include Women’s Health and Paediatric in addition to her general practice.

I graduated from Medicine in Queensland. After working in both city and rural hospitals, I decided that general practice was my calling. I attained my fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2002. I enjoy all facets of general practice, particularly looking after children, the elderly, womens’ health, and mental health.

Dr Davies completed her medical degree in 1990 at the University of Tasmania, and then completed her General Practice training in Melbourne becoming a Fellow of the Royal College Of General Practitioners in 1997. Before settling in Perth in 2002 she worked in the United Kingdom and Tasmania in areas of Women’s Health and General Practice. She has a particular interest in preventative medicine, women and children’s health, dermatology and asthma. Outside of medicine she enjoys listening and playing classical music including singing and watching sport (especially when her sons are participating!) as well as escaping to the bush and exploring the remote areas of WA with her family.

Dr Agatha Gabriel is very experienced female GP ,who specialises in all aspect of general practice and she has special interest in women’s and child health.

In between work and family I aim to keep fit by turning out for Wembley Downs “Masters” soccer team. I am a long frustrated but optimistic follower of the Dockers, and a very happy supporter of the English cricket team.

I enjoy challenging myself and setting myself new targets each year. These generally involve climbing increasingly bigger mountains (literally)! As such, I’ve had wonderful experiences trekking for pleasure, as well as working as an expedition doctor on a number of trips to Nepal and Europe.

After undertaking further work and studies in Orthopaedics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, I finally “found” general practice. After completing my Fellowship in General Practice, I was inspired to undertake further education at the University of Bristol where I completed a post graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning for Health Professionals.

I have recently become very interested in the latest research relating to the treatment of diabetes and obesity, and this has led me to study further the importance and benefits of nutrition. This interest has involved travel to the UK where I have met a number of important researchers, including Dr. Michael Mosely. Melanie graduated from the University of WA in 2001. She has lived in France, the UK and Brazil and attends patients in both French and Portuguese. Since 2008 she has settled back in Perth, living with her husband and 2 young children. In her spare time she enjoys playing music, hiking and playing with her kids!

Dr Lynn Graham completed her Medical training at the University of Otago, New Zealand in 2000 and worked in Emergency Medicine, Hospital General Medicine and General Practice prior to relocating to Perth in 2007.

I was born and raised in Ireland and completed my medical degree at Trinity College Dublin in 2000.

I moved to Australia in 2002 and enjoyed working in the hospital system in specialties including general medicine, aged care, emergency medicine and obstetrics and gynaecology.

Dr Ben Harrison graduated from Macquarie University in 2005 and has worked at Leederville Chiropractic Clinic since 2008. Dr Harrison is currently completing his degree in Medicine at the University of Notre Dame. As a result he has very limited hours of practice, but enjoys it so much, he has persisted. Ben is an excellent chiropractor, with a particular interest in functional neurology.

Dr Brigitte Heitz was born in Perth into a Swiss family. She graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1992 and did her postgraduate training for rural General Practice, with Grad. Dip. I am a graduate of the University of Western Australia, and spent my early years at Royal Perth Hospital gaining invaluable experience. After travelling and working in Adelaide and the UK, I returned home to Perth to complete my GP training.

Over time, I have developed special interests in women’s health, paediatrics, and mental health, but I enjoy most fields within the wide spectrum of general practice. I learnt early on that General Practice was my passion. I am approachable and friendly and love getting to know my patients and their families. General Practice allows me to understand them as a person and not just a medical problem. I believe this is integral to providing effective, patient-centered care.

I grew up in Perth and attained my Medical degree in the University of Western Australia.

I trained locally in RPH, SCGH, KEMH, PMH , Bentley Hospital and spent 6 months working in Cottage Hospice.
