Hi! I am Lena, born and raised in India, but with Swedish parents.
I graduated as a nurse in Sweden in 1977 and then continued to study Midwifery in London. Between 1981 and 1983 I worked in Bhutan as a Nurse/Midwife for the Leprosy Mission. During this time, I met my Australian husband and became an Australian citizen some years later. We now have two adult children.
I studied Medicine at Lund University in Sweden and graduated in 1997. Since then I have been working in Australia and have completed a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and am a Fellow of the Australian College of General Practice. As a bulk billing practice, all patients holding a valid Medicare card are bulk billed, however for some consultations patients may be out of pocket. For those not covered by Medicare, our fees are $60 for a standard consultation and $80 for a long consultation.
We are conveniently located at the Thompson Corner Shopping Village with direct access from the car park into the front and rear of our building. Also, easily accessible for patients in West Pennant Hills, Castle Hill, Cherrybrook, Pennant Hills, Beecroft, Carlingford, North Rocks, and Baulkham Hills.
