Hi! I am Lena, born and raised in India, but with Swedish parents.
I graduated as a nurse in Sweden in 1977 and then continued to study Midwifery in London. Between 1981 and 1983 I worked in Bhutan as a Nurse/Midwife for the Leprosy Mission. During this time, I met my Australian husband and became an Australian citizen some years later. We now have two adult children.
I studied Medicine at Lund University in Sweden and graduated in 1997. Since then I have been working in Australia and have completed a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and am a Fellow of the Australian College of General Practice. MC Family Medical Practice has been my ‘home’ since 2002 and I enjoy the support and fellowship we have here.
