Jo is a senior Pilates physiotherapist and coordinates the Clinical Pilates services at South Perth Physiotherapy. In 2006, Jo graduated with first class honours from Curtin University with a B.Sc degree in Physiotherapy, as well as completing her B.Sc Sports Science Degree in 2007. She has also undertaken training in balance and vestibular disorders (including BPPV), dry needling and Bikefit. She recently also completed a Grad Cert (Occupational Health and Safety).
Working extensively with teams from the WAFL, the WARU football codes and Sports Medicine Australia for over a decade, Jo’s knowledge and development of the athlete’s coordination, motor skills and movement patterns was instrumental in injury prevention and rehabilitation. Jo is a physiotherapy clinical tutor with Curtin University supervising students during practical assessments and treatments. She also instructs Rocktape courses throughout WA as well as international seminars through Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia.
