Dr Glen Bates graduated from Monash University and subsequently undertook his residency at Box Hill Hospital. He also trained in obstetrics at Box Hill. A longstanding partner of the practice, Dr Bates is a generalist in family medicine and has a particular interest in minor surgery and procedures. He is a founding member of the Australian Menopause Society and a member of the Australian Skin Cancer College.

Pat graduated at Melbourne University 1976. Pat has worked in general practice for 32 years, and has also worked in hospitals and sports clinics. He taught at Monash University for 10 years. Pat then had his own clinic in Nunawading, which was the first computerised practice in Victoria.

Pat has been on the board of General Practice networks for 20 years, and has been heavily involved in general practice network organisations.

Pat specialises in Family Medicine, Chronic disease management and Sports medicine. He has 4 grandchildren who he loves spending time with. Pat’s hobbies are supporting his beloved Richmond football club, fishing,...

Dr Carolyn De Run graduated from Monash University and completed her residency at Monash Medical Centre and Southern Health. During her training in general practice she has worked in Warburton and south-east Melbourne. Dr De Run enjoys consulting in all aspects of family medicine.

Janette graduated from Monash University in 1980 and after residencies at Geelong and Royal Children’s Hospitals has been working General Practice for the last 31 years and love the continuity of care this allows.

Janette has a special interest in both women’s health and psychological issues.

Dr Debra Fryer graduated from the University of Melbourne and completed her residency at Box Hill Hospital, including further training in obstetrics. Before joining North Ringwood Medical Centre she completed her general practice training in eastern Melbourne. Dr Fryer maintains an interest in all areas of family medicine and has a special interest in obstetrics & gynaecology and paediatrics. She is a shared care affiliate of Box Hill Hospital, Mercy Hospital and The Royal Women’s Hospital. Dr Fryer is also an examiner for the College of

Dr Eugene Goh graduated from Monash University in 1996 and has been at this practice since Feb 2013. He enjoys all aspects of general practice, particularly chronic diseases like diabetes and asthma, preventative health and men’s health. He is also determined to help patients on their journey to loose weight and keep it off.

Nikki graduated with honours from Monash University in 1998. She pursued her love of bush-walking in Hobart with her husband Craig, working in various placements at Royal Hobart Hospital. After 4 years in hospitals she committed to doing general practice as she loves the variety of ages and issues. In 2006 Nikki joined North Mitcham Clinic.

He now concentrates on General Practice and is interested in whole patient care. He has a diverse range of interests including chronic disease, children’s health, adult medicine, mental health and skin cancers.

Dr Anthony Lim graduated from Monash University in 2007, and has worked and trained at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Ballarat Base hospital and Box Hill Hospital prior to becoming a general practitioner. He enjoys all aspects of general practice including preventative medicine, sexual health, men’s health and paediatrics.

Karen graduated from Melbourne University in 1977 after which she worked in hospitals for 3 years. She then spent 2 years travelling, and did some medical work in England. Karen returned home in 1983 and has been in general practice ever since.

Karen has an interest in preventative health and family medicine.

Dr Kevin Lui graduated from the University of Melbourne and undertook his residency at The Austin Hospital and Box Hill Hospital. During his training in general practice he worked in suburban Melbourne and country Victoria. He subsequently gained experience in general practice and health screening in Ireland.

Chris graduated from Monash University in 1986 after which he worked in Prince Henry’s hospital in 1987 and 1988 then moved to Dandenong and District Hospital in 1989. Chris then worked at Valewood Clinic from 1990-2001, after which he commenced work here at North Mitcham Clinic in 2002 and has been here since.

Andrew graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1985. He worked at a number of hospitals before starting work in General Practice in 1990. He started working at North Mitcham Clinic in 1996 taking over from Dr Paul Adrian.

Andrew also works at Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital caring for patients that are undergoing rehabilitation. He also has an interest in medical education and teaches Monash University Medical students. He is also involved in training aspiring General Practitioners that work in our practice.

Andrew has a family with three children and in his spare time...

Janet graduated from Monash University in 1973. She worked at a number of hospitals before starting a family. She worked in General Practice in Glen Waverley part time while her family was young. Janet moved to North Mitcham Clinic taking over from Dr Freda Wraight in 1992.

Janet is also a Supervisor of General Practice registrars and medical students.

Janet also works at Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital caring for patients undergoing rehabilitation following illness or surgery.

Janet has four children and currently four grandchildren, (expecting more!)

Dr Robin Misso attended Monash University and completed his residency with posts at Prince Henry Hospital, Royal Children’s Hospital and then hospital posts in England. He gained experience in family medicine in Brunswick before once again working in the UK, this time in Scotland. Prior to joining North Ringwood Medical Centre Dr Misso practiced in nearby Templestowe.

Dr Chris Moodie attended Monash University and completed his postgraduate training at Box Hill Hospital and Mercy Maternity Hospital, under the Family Medicine Program of the College of General Practitioners. He is one of the original partners in the practice. Whilst Dr Moodie sees the full range of general practice problems he has a special interest in adolescent health and adolescent mental health. He was instrumental in the establishment of the Youth Clinic at Eastern Access Community Health and is the Medical Director of that service. Dr Moodie also holds a number of advisory posts.
