Katrina graduated from Monash University and has been a General Practitioner in the Bayside area for almost 10 years now. While she is interested in all aspects of Family Medicine, she has a special interest in Women’s and Children’s Health, in particular pregnancy care. She is a registered Shared Care Provider with Sandringham Hospital, Frankston Hospital and Monash Health (Monash and Dandenong Hospitals).

Dr Jeffrey Shapiro finished his Medical studies at Manchester University and after 2 /12 years in hospitals he has been in Cheltenham most of his professional life. Previously he was the Medical Director of Sandringham Hospital, and remains a Senior Examiner of doctors specialising in General Practice. He is comfortable in all aspects of patient care.

Outside the practice he is a keen golfer and enjoys travelling.

Dr Rodney Smyth graduated from Monash University in 1987. He entered general practice in 1990 and then worked for three years with the Red Cross and the Commonwealth Government. Dr Smyth completed his Master's degree in Public Health in 2001 majoring in epidemiology and biostatistics. Richard’ graduated from the University of Tasmania in 1979.

He chose to specialise in General Practice and to gain maximum experience worked in country hospitals for four years. To top off his training he worked at Caulfield Hospital in their Geriatric ward prior to beginning private practice in Cheltenham Medical Centre in 1986.

His medical interests include Geriatrics (he cares for over 40 patients in three aged care facilities), musculoskeletal problems and people with stress and anxiety. He enjoys minor surgery and has cured many...

Ryszard has a great interest in passing on his experience to medical students and trainee doctors as they are the future General Practitioners.
