Dr Robyn Denner MBBS

Robyn graduated
from Queensland
University in 1977 and then worked at the Mater Hospital before commencing in General Practice.

She has been at Baywest for over 20 years. Women’s and children’s health and preventative medicine are special areas of interest but she finds the whole range of general practice work very enjoyable

Dr Teresa Ea is a medical graduate from Bond University in the Gold Coast.

She has worked at various training hospitals including the Princess Alexandra hospital and the Royal Children's hospital.

She has subsequently worked and trained in Adelaide as a GP gaining experience in all areas of general practice. Her special interests include preventative medicine, women's health, children's health and skin. She has received formal training for implanon insertion and removal.

She enjoys all aspects of general practice, as it focuses on holistic, patient-centred care.

Dr Rebecca Hopkins BA BSc MBBS FRACGP

Rebecca graduated from the University of Queensland in 2004 and worked in most of the hospitals in South East Queensland while doing surgical training. In 2011 she saw the light and started GP training and hasn’t looked back. She particularly enjoys the diversity of people she sees in general practice, and the challenges and privilege of “cradle to the grave” care.

Dr Colleen Jenkins MBBS, FRACGP

Colleen completed a science degree and medical degree at the University of Queensland. She worked for 2 years at the Royal Brisbane Hospital before choosing General Practice as her career.

Dr Ailsa Laidlaw: MBBS, FRACGP, MBA

Ailsa graduated from Queensland University in 1975, worked in hospitals in Brisbane and London then commenced General Practice in 1981. She has worked in the Bayside area since then.

She enjoys General Practice because it looks after the whole person’s medical needs across time and in the context of their family, social and work environments. She has special interests in skin cancer treatment and women’s health.

Dr Rebecca Levy B Sc, MBBS, FRACGP

Rebecca graduated from the University of Queensland in 2008. She worked at Ipswich hospital in various departments for two years and then at Redlands hospital emergency for a year before starting general practice.

She has worked in three other practices, including with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community health service in Woolloongabba.

Rebecca is on maternity leave until October 2015.

Dr Fiona Wong BSc, MBBS, FRACGP

Fiona graduated from the University of Queensland in 2008 and worked in Toowoomba Base Hospital, Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and Royal Children's Hospital before undertaking general practice training.

She has a bright personality and is passionate about patient care. One of most unique aspects of general practice is the opportunity to practise holistic medicine and provide continuity of care - a feature that few other specialities possess.

Dr Andrew Wright MBBS, DipRACOG, FRACGP, Masters in Public Health & Tropical Medicine

Andrew enjoys dealing with the variety of medical problems which present to general practice. He has over 25 years experience in family practice, including seven years in a rural community in Tasmania. He has special interests in children’s health, travel medicine, tropical and public health. Andrew has worked regularly in the emergency department at the Mater Children’s Hospital for ten years. He has travelled to Africa on several occasions to be involved in rural health clinics and voluntary...

Andrew worked for 10 years in the emergency department of the Mater Childrens Hospital. He is a GP supervisor and trainer working with other doctors in our practice to provide teaching and mentoring to future General Practitioners.
