Dr. Jocelyn Eggins has lived and worked in the Maleny hinterland since moving here in 2002 with her husband and three children.
Jocelyn studied medicine at the University of Queensland and graduated in 1994. She began her career at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane and then moved into General Practice, initially in Brisbane and then later in Maleny and Montville. Jocelyn has a special interest in Skin Cancer Medicine and has obtained a Certificate in Skin Cancer management through the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine, and has undertaken additional studies in advanced dermoscopy.

Dr Michelle Johnston has lived and worked as a GP in the Sunshine Coast hinterland for 15yrs, after moving from Sydney with her family. She has three teenage and young adult children and enjoys most outdoor activities, especially horseriding.

Dr Sam Manger completed his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and his undergraduate Bachelor of Science (BSc) from the University of Queensland. Dr Wanyi Yeong, originally from Singapore, moved to Cardiff in the UK in 2000 to study medicine and complete her GP training. Following her training, Wanyi lived in Hamshire, UK, until recently moving to Queensland with her husband and two children. When not a work Wanyi enjoys exploring beautiful Queensland with her family and raising her two young children.

He recently completed the Diploma in Child Health and is interested in all areas of family practice. Tim married his wife in 2001 and they have 2 children and so like most young parents spends most of his free time looking after them.

Dr Sheelagh Buttanshaw grew up in Ireland and the UK, graduating from Leicester University in 2007. Following the completion of her medical degree Sheelagh worked in hospital medicine in the UK and Sydney. In 2013, Sheelagh and her family moved to Maleny where she began her general practice training. In her spare time she enjoys socialising with friends, walking and spending time at the beach.

Dara is a female registrar originating from Canada where she completed a Bachelor of Science 2007.

She then completed her Bachelor of Medicine through Queensland University in Brisbane in 2012.

Grew up in Auckland, New Zealand and graduated in 2004. He enjoys a variety of medical issues general practice provides and has a particular interest in Paediatrics, Orthopaedics and Men’s health. He is passionate about general medicine and very much believes in preventative medicine.

Dr Greeff was qualified in Pretoria, South Africa. Dr Greeff has moved this year to join us after practicing in Morayfield for the past 7 years. Dr Greeff has a particular interest in lifestyle medicine, preventative health, women’s health and general medicine, also offering Venesections. Dr Greeff is aiming to acquire further knowledge in the field of nutritional and environmental medicine.

John completed his medical degree in Manchester UK in 1985. After working for 3 years in the hospitals of the South Manchester region he decided to travel overseas to New Zealand. He spent 2 enjoyable years in the South Island, where he obtained his post graduate qualification in General Practice, before settling in the picturesque Bay of Plenty in the North Island. John spent 12 years in a partnership in Mt. Maunganui before crossing over the Tasman to Australia in 2002. He had an initial 3 year stint working in the Whitsundays before finally settling in Nambour in August 2005.

Following extensive experience in the hospital system and military, Dr Peter Herbert has worked in general practice for past 20 years.

Fiona completed her medical degree in Leeds UK in 1999 and finished her GP training in the UK before moving to Australia in 2006. She lives with her partner two young children. Her interests are in Women's Health and she runs a Pap Smear clinic at Nambour.
