Dr Indika Leelasena. Dr Indy, as he prefers to be called, specialises in Chronic Disease Management, ATSI patients and has a General Surgeon background. Dr Indy has been in Australia since 2009 and comes to us with 9 years of previous GP experience. Speaks English and also Sinhalese

Dr Mackerras joined Everton Hills Medical Centre in early 2014, and enjoys working with paitents of all ages and needs. Areas of special interests include musculoskeletal medicine and mental health.

Kim is an experienced GP with particular interests in Men's Health, Public Health and Infectious diseases. Kim's non-medical interests include his family, his devoted dog, and hobbies including listening to classical music and enjoying the theatre.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of GP's with over 10 years’ experience working as a Doctor. He has a special interest in Men’s Health, Cardiovascular, Respiratory Medicine and Paediatrics. He has a Skin Cancer Surgery and Medicine Diploma which he utilises to do thorough skin checks and surgery in the Skin Cancer Clinic.

Dr Jennie Nowers graduated from Edinburgh University in 2004. She qualified in general practice in 2008, gaining her membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the UK. She worked in South Africa for 5 years in a public hospital setting, working in general practice as well as HIV and TB medicine. She moved to Australia in 2013 and gained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of

Danielle is an experienced GP with medical interests in Children's Health, including lactation and feeding problems, Women's Health and Mental Health.

Her non-medical interests are centered on her young family and include travel, cooking and staying fit.

Louise graduated from the University of Queensland with first class honours in 1999, and received the Maureen Duke and Marion Sullivan memorial award for her GP fellowship exam in 2005. She has a particular interest in children's health, women's health, mental illness and preventative care. Outside of medicine Louise enjoys painting pictures, running and Tae Kwon Do.

An experienced GP with a passion for general practice work, Dr Van Wyk has a broad range of interests, including children's health, chronic conditions & geriatric care, dermatology including skin cancers and men's health. His non- medical interest include fishing, 4 wheel driving, hunting, playing guitar and singing.

Kathy trained in medicine in Leicester in the UK, before relocating to Australia in 1996. She is a local GP with extensive experience in Child Health, Emergency Medicine and Indigenous Health. Prior to moving to Brisbane, she worked in the Northern Territory with the Royal Flying Doctors for several years.

Kathy is a member of the Faculty of Special Interests as a Medical Educator, both of medical students and GP registrars. She teaches procedural and clinical skills, and examines clinical skills for the Royal Australian College of GPs and the Australian Medical Council. Kathy is also a Director for the Advanced Paediatric Life Support course for hospital and community doctors, and teaches regularly on the Remote Emergency Skills Training course for remote and rural
