Dr Felicity Constable was born and educated in...

She accepted a Queensland Health Rural Health scholarship in medical school and after completing her internship in Mackay, joined the newly fledged Rural Generalist pathway. Felicity undertook her DRANZCOG Advanced at Mackay Base Hospital and subsequently moved to Dalby Hospital to work as a GP Obstetrician.

Felicity achieved her ACRRM fellowship in 2013 and in 2014 became Medical Superintendent of the Chinchilla Hospital. She moved to Toowoomba with her family in late 2016 and she currently holds a position as a Director of the Rural Generalist program and Chair of the Consultative Committee for DRANZCOG.

Since graduating, Jodi has worked for a number of years in hospitals in South East corner of Queensland with special interest in Orthopaedics. Jodi did her General Practice training in Tamworth and Inverell in NSW over last 3 years and obtained her fellowship with RACGP in 2017. She aims to provide holistic patient-focused care and has a special interest in orthopaedic problems, women’s health and minor skin procedures.

Wendy has always had an interest in general practice and public health and is now pursuing a fellowship in general practice. Her interests include all areas of general practice with a particular interest in the evidence basis of medical practice as well as working with older patients, an area she has been focused in her previous role which was in interim aged care.

Dr Tamara Johansen has joined us as a GP registrar in 2017, after graduating from Griffith University in 2013, and spending 3 years at Toowoomba Hospital. Tamara has special interests in women’s health, and holds the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologist’s Certificate in Women’s Health.

Tamara grew up in Toowoomba, trained as a Veterinarian at Sydney University, and practiced for 5 years before returning to medical school. She is fortunate to have a supportive husband and two handsome young boys. Time with her boys is precious, so much of her ‘spare time’ is spent enjoying family outings and fun creative activities on their hobby farm.

Dr Kym Butt, M.B.,B.S. (Qld), F.R.A.C.G.P. Dr Butt is interested in all areas of general practice care. She holds certificates in Women's Health and in Family Planning. She has particular interests in women's and children's health. Dr Butt is available on Monday morning, Wednesday and Thursday mornings, and Friday afternoon.

Has broad experience in full range of general practice and family care with a particular interest in women’s health and psychological medicine. Dr Chapman is accepting new patients.

Dr Laurie Chow graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science in 2012 and subsequently completed his PhD research in molecular physiology at the Austin Hospital (University of Melbourne) in 2009.
