Ok, got itDr Eddie Cassidy comes from Townsville, and moved to Brisbane in 1990 to commence his medical studies at the University of Queensland. He graduated in 1995 and was awarded the Queensland Health Rural scholarship for the final three years of his studies. This was followed by an intern year at the Mater Misericordiae Hospital in South Brisbane in 1996....
In 2004, Eddie formed a business partnership with Dr Joan Baker, and purchased the medical centre in Karalee Shopping Centre, for which they chose the name Health Matters Karalee. From 2004 until the present time, the practice has grown & developed with 3 extensions and renovations, to have a seven doctor team and thirteen support staff.
In 2013 the opportunity arose for Eddie and Joan to set up a new practice in Fernvale, and Health Matters Fernvale was opened for business on August 13 2013.
