Dr Fernando Afonso graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1995 and is a member of the Australian Dental Association. Fernando owned a successful practice in the Perth northern suburb of Woodvale for eight years before moving to Sweden with his young family for a couple years. We welcome Fernando’s permanent return to Perth WA and especially of the purchase of DENTAL REFLECTIONS, Dr John Lam has made a great decision in choosing Fernando to lead our team.

Fernando believes strongly in the value of continuing his dental education. "The field of dentistry is changing every day and to be the best dentist you can be, you must stay current". Fernando continually attends post graduate courses across Australia and internationally.

Outside of dentistry you will find Fernando out on the water, he is a keen fisherman and enjoys our Perth beaches, all whilst spending time with his loving wife Gunnela and their three beautiful children, Timothy, Lucas and Estelle.

Dr Bains was the owner of a highly successful Private practice in London. He has extensive qualifications to continuously keep up to date with the latest dental developments to benefit his patients. He originally did his BDS at Birmingham University UK. Dr Bains further completed his MFDSRCS Ed at Edinburgh University.

Dr Barr prides himself on creating long-lasting relationships with his patients. Travelling to the USA, Germany and New Zealand to learn from the world’s top leaders in dentistry, Dr Barr is committed to the dental industry. He made a commitment early in his career to help his patients achieve long term optimal oral health and stays true to this commitment today.

Dr Barr has enrolled himself in the extensive continuing education provided by The Dawson Academy, one of the leading international organisations for post-graduate dental education in Florida, USA. Being one of very few dentists in the Pacific region to receive this type of education, he examines and treats teeth as part of the overall oral system including the airway, teeth, jaw joints and chew muscles. This thorough approach helps identify causes of dental problems, rather than simply treating symptoms.

Dr David Beecham helped start the Aim Dental Group in 2004 and has been with the group since. David is now one of the two dentists that own Aim and is dedicated to ensuring a high level of patient care. David has worked at all of the Aim locations but is now based out of the Warwick surgery as well as travelling to Merredin every fortnight to provide dental care to rural WA.

David is highly trained in all aspects of dentistry including general dentistry, family orientated dentistry and complex cosmetic and reconstruction dentistry. David is very focussed on ensuring all patients are comfortable and relaxed

Dr Evelyn Beecham has been with Aim for over 3yrs. Evelyn is highly qualified in all aspects of dentistry and has a particular interest in orthodontics with a focus on invisalign treatment. Evelyn is currently on maternity leave with her two children. We will post here as soon as she returns from leave.

Dr Gregory Chang graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1993 from The University of Western Australia. He began his dental career in the North West town of Port Hedland and the surrounding aboriginal communities of Yandeyarra, Nullagine, Marble Bar, Jigalong, Punmu, and Cotton Creek....

He is a REGISTERED DENTIST with the Australian Dental board.

Jack grew up in Perth and qualified at The University of Western Australia in 2012. Following graduation Jack relocated to work in Kalgoorlie, where he gained experience in family general dentistry, oral surgery and advanced restorative dentistry. Jack enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and attends continuing education courses to stay up to date with the latest medical findings in order to ensure each one of his patients receive the greatest quality of care and comfort.

Jennifer’s philosophy is caring for patients as a whole rather than just treating their dental condition. She believes this is the best way to manage and treat patients, as each person is unique in their own way. Her favourite aspect of Dentistryis forming relationships with patients and being able to make a difference in every patient’s life. Whether it be from teaching them proper brushing and flossing techniques, to invisible braces and completely changing a person’s smile – any difference whether it be small or large gives her the greatest satisfaction. Jarryd has been interested in Dentistry from a young age and used to attend an Aim Dental Group practice as a patient- we like to think it was us that inspired Dr Jarryd Chapman in his career choice!

In addition to Jarryd’s formal schooling, he is very enthusiastic about pursuing continuing education in all areas of Dentistry, but has a keen interest in cosmetic dentistry. Jarryd works with only the best materials and believes it is important to keep current with evolving techniques and materials to provide state-of-the-art treatment options for his patients.

Dr Jin Jin Choo - Jin graduated from the universtity of Western Australia. She is an enthusiastic dentist with interests in all areas of general dentistry. With a gentle and caring demeanor, Jin is passionate about providing a positive experience at the dentist for the entire family. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), and actively participates in ongoing continuing education courses.

Perth dentist Dr Tim Clair graduated from the University of Western Australia; he brings a new generation approach to his dentistry and is dedicated to continuing his professional education. Tim is currently a member of the Australian Dental Association. He has a particular interest in oral health and preventative dentisty in Perth. His refined clinical skills, combined with his gentle approach ensure that his patients enjoy consistantly high quality dental care in Perth WA.

I graduated in 2009 in Mumbai, India where I worked for 3 years. During this time, I was fortunate enough to work at the cosmetic dental center of choice for the Bollywood A list and the business elite where I have gained tremendous skills and an eye for detail.
