Dr David Cao, founding principal of Hawthorn East Dental, obtained his Bachelor of Dental Science at University of Melbourne in 2004, after completing VCE at Melbourne Grammar School in 1999. He gained his experience working at Caring Dental Group, Malvern East Dental and Dental Perfection, before establishing his own practice.

Dr Cao is a caring and highly experienced dentist, with extensive experience in cosmetic dentistry and all aspects of general dentistry. He has particular interest in implantology and orthodontics.

Timothy graduated from the University of Melbourne, where he gained broad clinical experience working at The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne, and in rural health clinics of Victoria. Outside of dentistry, Timothy is an aspiring concert pianist and classical musician. He has been awarded a Fellowship with Trinity College London in Piano performance, and has appeared on 3MBS ‘Fine Music’ FM. Recently, he has been selected as a finalist in the 2016 Australian National Piano Award, Australia’s premier national classical piano competition.

Chris is our principal dentist and founder of Lifetime Dental Health Group. He graduated from University of Melbourne in 1984.Chris has special interests in TMD, non extraction orthodontics, sleep apnoea and working with special needs children. Chris is an ACNEM member. Chris is married with two young kids and enjoys playing tennis and cycling.

Dr. Wilma Eelderink, B.D.Sc(Melb) L.D.S(Vic)MRACDS G.Dip.Hum.Nut. has 25 years of experience in all aspects of dentistry. She has a particular interest in children’s and family dentistry and has expertise in treating children with complex dental problems. Dr. Eelderink has studied nutrition and is very interested in its effect on general and dental health. She participates regularly in ongoing post graduate education to maintain the highest standard of clinical care. Her relaxation is practicing and studying yoga.

Adam Evans brings a wealth of experience from the UK where he had his own cosmetic dental practice and a long career in both public and private dentistry. Re-locating to Melbourne with his family in 2009, he has most recently worked in the public sector as a Senior Dentist at the Dental Hospital, demonstrating all aspects of clinical dentistry to the dental students at the University. Adam has a special interest in Orthodontics and has been providing this service to his patients since 1991. Adam enjoys a good game of golf, and exploring the Dandenong Hills where he lives with his family.
