Sam graduated from the University of Cairo in 2000 with Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS).

He was initially drawn to dentistry after his own unpleasant experience as a kid in the dental chair, which actually made him think that “a dentist visit should be a better experience”.

Sam moved to Australia in 2010 and he absolutely loves living in Melbourne, and calls it “HOME” now. He brings to Vineyard Dental more than 16 years of extensive valuable experience in general dentistry which he gained in the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne and in multiple private practices in Melbourne. He is also a visiting lecturer at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne for the Clinical Training Unit of the Dental Health Services of Victoria, and a Mentor for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Sydney.Sam strongly believes...

Sammy has been practicing general dental and oral surgery for over 20 years.

Sammy has a warm, gentle manner which goes along with his great caring and concern for all of his patients. Sam performs surgical procedures such as wisdom tooth extraction.

Dr Nimisha Bhatia is a general dentist and joined our team in June 2015. She has a specific interest in Endodontics, Restorative dentistry and has Orthodontic experience as well, being an accredited Invisalign practitioner. She graduated from Griffith University in QLD in 2011 and is interested in providing Holistic Dental care to her patients. Nimisha has a gentle touch and has a special way of making you feel relaxed.

Annie graduated from Beijing Medical University (Now Peking University Health Science Center), China in 1994 and registered in Australia as a dentist through Australian Dental Association in 2003.

Annie loves her job as a general dental surgeon. She has interests in nearly all areas of dentistry, especially cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. As a mum of two, she has great patience to treat child patients.

Annie can speak fluent English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Dr Chan completed his B.D.Sc. at the University of Western Australia, and continued with post-graduate studies completing his Grad Cert Dent at Adelaide Unviersity. He has a strong commitment to continuing education, and regularly attends advanced courses to maintain his own expertise in dentistry. In addition to this he was also a past clinical tutor to undergraduate dental students at the Oral Health Centre of Western Australia.

Cathy graduated from The University of Melbourne in 1986 and began at Footscray Family Dentistry in 1988. She is an exceptional general dentist dedicated to comfortable and quality dental care. Despite her accomplishment in all areas of general dentistry, Cathy has a keen interest in endodontics and prosthodontics. Outside of work her passions are reading, art and spending time with her family. Cathy is an active member of SmileHigh a volunteer organisation committed to improving oral health in Nepal.

Lara graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2010 and has been practising dentistry since. Lara practises with professionalism and compassion at all times and believes in patient-centred care so that the unique needs and values of each patient is always respected.

Lara practices in all aspects of general dentistry and can also provides Invisalign treatment (invisible teeth alignment therapy). In her spare time, Lara enjoys Taekwondo, eating out and watching movies.

Gus began his dental career at Footscray Family Dentistry in 1979 during which time he completed his Masters in Dentistry and lectured at The University of Melbourne. He offers experienced care in both English and Spanish across a wide range of treatments including oral surgery and orthodontics. Aside from dentistry Gus enjoys spending time at his family winery near Geelong or cycling.

Graduating from Latrobe University, Darcy is a general dentist offering high quality treatment tailored to the individual. Darcy has performed dentistry in Vietnam under the Rotary Australia-Vietnam Dental Health Project and is a keen sports fan particularly of AFL and cricket.
