In 2000 I graduated from the University of Sydney with Honours after moving down from Brisbane after completing my school education at St Josephs College Gregory Terrace Brisbane. I have worked extensively in Country, General Family, Cosmetic Dentistry, Orthodontic and Dental Implant practices, in both Australia and the United Kingdom.

Linny has been practising Dentistry since 1996 and has an extensive academic background. Linny completed her Master of Science in Dentistry at the University of Sydney and finished her PhD (Dental Science) in 2008.

Professional History

Dr Ashton enjoys furthering his interests in general dentistry, prosthodontics and implants. During his years in Brisbane, Dr Ashton has had a long association with the University of Queensland Dental School. He is a member of the Australian Prosthodontic Society and various international dental associations and study groups.

Dr Ashton is also an active member of the Australian Dental Association, and has been since graduation. Recently, he was awarded the Australian Dental Association Service Medallion for his contribution as part of the organizing committee for the 2011 Australian Dental Association Congress in Brisbane. Mark has worked as a Dentist in The Gap since 1976.

Mark has based his practice on General Dentistry focusing on families in this lovely suburb of The Gap. His philosophy is to be a kind, caring dentist and to maintain long and satisfying relationships with all of his patients. He feels that he has achieved this and looks forward to continuing this in the future.

Dr Kristina Cain completed her studies at the University...

She has traveled around Australia during this time, working in private practices in Cairns, Sydney and Brisbane. As a family dentist, she enjoys treating patients from all walks of life.

Currently a trainer for the Australasian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics (AADFA), Kristina was recently made a Fellow of the International Academy of Dento-Facial Esthetics (IADFE) in New York, USA. She is also a Dental Consultant on the Dental Advisory Panel for Experience to assist other dentists.

Dr Hamish Caithness graduated with Honours from the University of Queensland and has over 18 years experience as a dental surgeon.

I graduated from the University of Manchester, UK in 2010 with a Bachelor of Dental Science. I then spent the next few years working and further developing my skills in London. I worked with specialist consultants gaining a great deal of experience in varied fields, including crowns, bridges, and minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry. I developed a passion for treating particularly anxious or nervous patients, aiming to provide excellent dental care in a relaxed and reassuring environment. Dr Jim Chuang is our Principal Dentist. He graduated with BDSc (Hons) from the University of Queensland in Brisbane. Dr Chuang has special interests in Invisalign Braces, Implant Surgery & Grafting and Wisdom teeth extractions. In Dr Chuang’s spare time he enjoys working in his garden & spending time with his wife and 2 kids.

Gary has been at our practice for 8 years. He is popular with patients because of his sense of humour and gentle touch. Gary is admired for his thoroughness and attention to detail. He is married with two (2) young children.

Dr Sean Crookes graduated from the University of Queensland in 1993 with a Bachelor of Dental Science. Sean has worked in both Australia and the United Kingdom, gaining valuable experience working in private dental practices. During this period he spent much time planning his ideal practice.

Professional History

Dr Davies completed his Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of Queensland, graduating in 1997 with Honours. He joined the BOH team following his graduation.

During his time at BOH Dental, Dr Davies has enjoyed applying himself to all aspects of dentistry, with a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, crown and bridgework, implant dentistry, root canal therapy and CAD(Computer Aided Design)/CAM (Computer Aided Manufacture) dental techniques including ceramic (Cerec) restoration.

Of particular interest to Dr Davies, are the principles of Biomimetics in dentistry.

Dr Malcolm Duff is the principal and founder of Face Value Dental. He arrived in Brisbane in the mid 90's from Edinburgh through the Middle East.
His original training was in Scotland, his primary degree from Dundee and his postgraduate qualification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, and he served as an examiner for the College prior to coming to Australia.

Outside of dentistry he enjoys rugby, motorcycling and time with his wife and family.

Sam is an asset for our practice. He is highly knowledgeable on all the latest and greatest techniques, and has the talent and skill to provide a wonderful service for his patients.

Professional History

Dr Elliott graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Dental Science degree with Honours from the University of Queensland Dental School. In mid 1984, he joined BOH Dental and worked in private practice for three years before moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the USA to complete a Masters Degree in Prosthodontics at Marquette University School of Dentistry...
