With encouragment from her dentist, David, she went on to study Dentistry at the University of Queensland graduating with First Class Honours in 1994. Vanessa worked in Roma for the government and school dental service before joining Unwin Dental Group in 1998.

David completed his studies at the University of Queensland, graduating with Honours in 1977. David has been practising Dentistry on the Sunshine Coast since 1980. He has completed postgraduate studies in Orthodontics and countless training, seminars and courses in Laser Dentistry, Crown & Bridge and CEREC.
