Mark has based his practice on General Dentistry focusing on families in this lovely suburb of The Gap. His philosophy is to be a kind, caring dentist and to maintain long and satisfying relationships with all of his patients. He feels that he has achieved this and looks forward to continuing this in the future.

Dr Jim Chuang is our Principal Dentist. He graduated with BDSc (Hons) from the University of Queensland in Brisbane. Dr Chuang has special interests in Invisalign Braces, Implant Surgery & Grafting and Wisdom teeth extractions. In Dr Chuang’s spare time he enjoys working in his garden & spending time with his wife and 2 kids.

Dr Hilary Hassall (B.D.Sc) graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1988. Hilary has practised dentistry in Brisbane since graduation and joined the Jansz Dental team in 1997. Hilary has lived and worked in the Sherwood area for over 18 years. Her close proximity to the practice allows her to be available for emergency patients in minimal time. Hilary has a particular interest in treating children. Dr Jansz received his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Sydney in 1985. After practicing dentistry in Sydney, from 1986 to 1995, Dr Jansz relocated to Brisbane with his family and established Jansz Dental in the Western suburb of Sherwood in late 1995. Michael has enjoyed practicing dentistry in The Gap since 1988, and is now treating the second and third generations of some local families. His particular interests in dentistry are IV sedation in conjunction with Mark Brumpton, for minor oral surgery and people anxious about dental treatment; implant crowns and dentistry in general.

Andrea Smith completed a Bachelor of Science at the University of QLD in 2001 majoring in Microbiology and her Bachelor of Dentistry from the University of Sydney in 2005.

She has been working in private practice in Brisbane & surrounding suburbs since then. Andrea enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a particular interest in children’s dentistry.

Outside of work Andrea enjoys walking her german shepherd dogs and is happy to talk about pets at length.
