Dr Allen worked at Princess Margaret Hospital for a short duration; however his passion for health, well-being and preventative care later lead him to complete a Bachelor of Science (Chiropractic), Bachelor of Chiropractic at Murdoch University.

After 5 years working as a Chiropractor in the Joondalup area, Dr Allen opened his office in Wanneroo with the goal of assisting his patients quickly through the acute pain stage and into rehabilitation using a range of techniques and the latest technology.

Chiropractic care has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and was because of my mum that I was introduced to the profession. In the past, she was faced with the decision of using either medicinal drugs or to try chiropractic treatment. After much consideration, she went with the more conservative approach of chiropractic care and has reaped the benefits ever since.

I grew up having a huge interest in health, nutrition and the human body, and naturally from this, I decided to pursue a career in the chiropractic field. During the course, I was able to attend events such as the Surf Lifesaving Championships, Southbound Music Festival and even travel to the rural location of Meekatharra. Since I can remember, I have always wanted to be in healthcare. To facilitate my entrance into Murdoch University, I undertook 12 months of sports and biomechanical studies at Edith Cowan University. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and then was ecstatic to find that my application to study chiropractic was successful!

During my third year of study to be a chiropractor I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to fly to Durban South Africa for a month where I treated professional surfers on a World Champion tour. Throughout the course I thrived on treating athletes at rugby tournaments, volleyball competitions and any other events I could be a part of.
