Since I can remember, I have always wanted to be in healthcare. To facilitate my entrance into Murdoch University, I undertook 12 months of sports and biomechanical studies at Edith Cowan University. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and then was ecstatic to find that my application to study chiropractic was successful!

During my third year of study to be a chiropractor I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to fly to Durban South Africa for a month where I treated professional surfers on a World Champion tour. Throughout the course I thrived on treating athletes at rugby tournaments, volleyball competitions and any other events I could be a part of.

My first proper introduction to Chiropractic was when I began working as a CA in Kalgoorlie. Observing the positive changes in peoples’ lives, not only in terms of pain relief and improved function, and experiencing similar positive changes first hand through my own regular care, inspired me to look into becoming a Chiropractor myself.

Forward some years, four children and a move to the Fremantle area, and I was enrolled at Murdoch University in Chiropractic, graduating in 2009. A further year of part time study added a Post Graduate in Sports Chiropractic and the ICSSD (International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma).

Bill Yavuz completed his Bachelor Degree in Chiropractic Science at Murdoch University in Western Australia.

He is trained in a variety of Chiropractic and soft tissue techniques to offer quality evidence-based advice and treatments to all of his patients.

After working at several clinics in Perth, Bill opened the Bedford Chiropractic clinic to offer quality and affordable chiropractic care for local families. Bill is particularly interested in treating neck pain, low back pain and a range of other musculoskeletal problems and constantly strives to continue learning the latest in chiropractic science.

Dr Helen Young graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic, University of Glamorgan (UK) in 2001, gaining a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Chiropractic BSc (HONS), DC.

Once qualified, Helen then practiced chiropractic in clinics around both England and Wales until 2008. It was that same year that she moved to Western Australia. Helen loves living in Perth, together with her husband and daughter, enjoying the great Australian way of life.

Dr. Victoria Shoemaker Young graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with a Doctor of Chiropractic. She immediately moved to Perth, WA to begin her career.

After doing locums and associateships for a few years, she opened Shelley Chiropractic Health Centre. Dr. Young specialises in low-force chiropractic techniques in addition to doing traditional chiropractic adjustments. She is married to an Australian with whom she has three children.
